CHBA-CVI members take home CARE Gold Awards

CHBA-CVI is very proud to announce 5 “GOLD” winners at the 2007 CARE Awards held October 13, 2007, at the Victoria Conference Centre. More than 300 builders, trades, and suppliers attended the gala event.

The Gold Award winners are, in the opinion of the judges, the very best projects incorporating specific criteria including unique design, function, creative use of space, compatibility with the environment, energy efficiency, effective land use, and cost.

The 2007 People’s Choice Award went to Wilco Construction Ltd., shown above, for the popular “Stamp Residence.” Photos of all Silver finalists were displayed in various locations in Victoria and Nanaimo. The public voted for their favorite project and entered to win a trip for two to Long Beach Lodge Resort, 2002 Project of the Year. A winner was drawn from more than 900 ballots cast.
